GitLab is locked to known IP addresses

Your current IP address isn't on the GitLab allow-list yet. Access is granted per IP through Spock — once your address is confirmed there, the proxy lets you in automatically.

1. STEP 01

   Log into Spock

   Open Spock and sign in with your AEMICS account.

2. STEP 02

   Confirm your IP address

   In Spock, confirm (or register) the IP address you're connecting from right now. This adds it to the GitLab allow-list.

3. STEP 03

   Wait up to 5 minutes

   The proxy refreshes its allow-list every 5 minutes. Give it a moment to pick up your newly confirmed address.

4. STEP 04

   Return to GitLab

   Once your IP is live, head back to GitLab using the button in the header and continue where you left off.
