Full-Stack Embedded
designed, built & connected.
We develop electronics, embedded software and cloud as one stack — and build it ourselves. We route the signal the whole way: from sensor, across the board, to the cloud.

One team designs, builds and connects the whole product
Three connected layers — engineered by the same people, so hardware, firmware and cloud fit each other instead of being bolted together afterwards. And we build it ourselves.
Electronics design
Hardware design from schematic through to PCB layout. Analog, digital, high- and low-voltage, signal processing, motion & image processing.
Embedded software
Firmware and embedded software that bring the hardware to life — the brains in your product. Signal processing, control and device logic.
Cloud solutions
Connectivity, data, dashboards and back-end services that extend the device beyond its enclosure — remote monitoring, content management, fleet & data services.

PCBA assembly — we build it ourselves
Our own production department assembles the boards, prototype through to series. Most contract developers hand the design to a third party — making it ourselves is what lets us prototype hardware fast and keep quality and traceability in our own hands. Every product we deliver carries its own serial number, with every production step, rework action and test result recorded against it — and viewable in Spock.
We build it with you, not for you
Co-development, Agile/Scrum
We develop together with you in short, iterative cycles — you bring the domain and the product vision, we bring the engineering. Visible progress, room to adjust as the product takes shape.
Fast prototyping — hardware included
Every phase produces something real and testable, fast. Because we run our own production, fast prototyping isn't limited to firmware and software — we turn hardware around in-house too, putting real boards in your hands early. We don't design air.
Built-in transparency
You don't just get a product — you get access to how it's built. Through Spock and a shared GitLab DevOps environment, you and our engineers work in one system with full traceability.
One system, shared by your team and ours
An ERP system used by AEMICS and customers in exactly the same environment. No separate "client view" — you edit the same projects, backlog and orders we do.
Production & planning
Live production status, planning, stock levels and reservations.
Unit-level traceability
Every delivered product serialized — production steps, rework & test results stored per unit.
Project collaboration
Projects, releases, epics, issues & subtasks — editable by you and us. Jira-style, shared.
Order handling
Order intake, invoicing and progress tracking.
Repairs & returns
Handling of returned goods for repair (RMA).
Bug reporting
Issue reporting and follow-up tied to specific articles.
Time tracking & insights
Working-hour registration with reporting and insight.
Product change notifications
Automatic notices from supplier data — end-of-life, revisions.
CVE reporting dev
Security-vulnerability alerts against the components & software in your device.
We grow the next generation — and our next capabilities
AEMICS continuously hosts around three trainees across development and production — something we're proud of. It keeps fresh thinking in the building and helps bring on the next generation of embedded engineers.
In development, trainees investigate new technologies that may later reach customer products or Spock — a low-risk way to mature a capability first.

Werken bij AEMICS ↗Container positioning · BLE 5.1
Locating containers and assets with Bluetooth Low Energy 5.1 direction-finding (angle-of-arrival).
Local AI for Spock
Improving Spock's component database with a locally run AI model — keeping data in-house, not in a cloud service.
CRA & NIS2 readiness
Building EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and NIS2 requirements into our development process — designed in from the start.
Products built together with our customers
A few we're proud of — spanning industrial, automation and consumer.

WILA — BendSense Technology
An advanced sensor system built into press-brake tool holders: tool identification, position & orientation monitoring, detection of unidentified objects, and geometric tool data — enabling automatic tool change without teaching, feeding straight into the press-brake control system.

Qmicro (by Sensirion) — DynamiQ GC analyzers
A family of versatile micro gas chromatographs for continuous monitoring of natural gas, hydrogen and biogases — configurable in hardware and software, across a process GC, a micro GC module and a 19" rack analyzer. High-precision measurement electronics for the energy transition.

Dekkers International — Digital Tap Lens
A digital signage "lens" for draft-beer systems that shows dynamic branding at the point of sale, with content updated remotely in seconds instead of replacing parts. Our clearest device-to-cloud example — display electronics, embedded control and a connected content-management path.
Embedded engineers in Twente, since 1996
An electronics design and manufacturing company in Oldenzaal. We research, develop and produce complex electronics for customers worldwide — building only what the product actually needs, never a "sheep with five legs". Openness, flexibility and traceability are built into how we work.
